CantiqLA Nursing Bras Are Here!
It’s not difficult to picture her, the new mother with her disheveled hair and spit-up soaked shirt. She’s the go-to cliche for movies and sitcoms and even the occasional comedic diaper commercial for a reason. When you’ve got a newborn baby and a new sleep schedule (or lack thereof), you’re bound to find yourself looking in the mirror at times and not recognizing the person staring back.
Now, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves and make hyperbolic statements that claim sexy nursing lingerie is going to make your tiny bundle of joy stop crying at 3am and your overgrown roots disappear.
However, if one thing has become more apparent in recent months, it’s that self-care is incredibly important and needs to be practiced daily. New mothers are no exception.
There are so many little things we can do on a regular basis to keep our spirits up that we simply don’t find the time or have the energy to do. When even a quick shower seems like a chore, dressing up in lingerie that makes us feel beautiful and empowered would not likely be found on any urgent to-do lists.
However, it's a simple step that can, perhaps, give mothers the boost they need.
When I saw my sister-in-law struggle to maintain her spirits after giving birth to her third baby, and when I saw the incredibly unflattering bras designed for nursing that she wore every day, I realized there was a need for a bra that could not only function perfectly for nursing, but that also looked sexy. And I know -- "sexy nursing bras" isn't exactly something one would think to even shop for.
But that doesn't mean a fabulous nursing bra isn't a necessity. You deserve to feel sexy, too.
"It's really hard to have any identity besides 'mom' after you come home from the hospital with your tiny human. As a first-time mom, it's really a fine line and a struggle to find the balance between motherhood and remaining true to your old self. Wearing a beautiful nursing bra might seem like a simple change in one's wardrobe, but it can make a huge difference. Sometimes we all need a little confidence boost, and just because you're nursing, doesn't mean you don't deserve one as well.
The nursing bras can be made in a variety of colors and sizes, and the detachable piece is designed with your baby's precious face in mind -- the velcro piece that would be closest to your child is nice and soft.

I want to start a series of posts on inspirational women through out history, and one of my all time favorites since I was a kid has been Frida Kahlo.
The below quote really resonates with me, especially now. Enjoy.

#MaybeHeDoesntHitYou but he makes you feel like you're constantly walking on eggshells afraid of saying or doing the wrong thing.
#MaybeHeDoesntHitYou but he's broken you down emotionally and destroyed your self esteem.
